About the application
The application My EU CBS is the official application of the Republic of Serbia for safe storage of certificates on the results of testing, vaccination and recovery from the infectious disease COVID-19, which is EU compatible.
The application allows the user to scan the QR codes of his family members.
The user independently decides when and to whom he will show his data.
No prior registration is required to use this application.
How does the application work?
The application allows scanning of certificates of testing, vaccination and recovery and their storage on the user's phone.
The QR code on the certificates contains only the necessary information on the validity of the COVID-19 test, vaccination and recovery from the infectious disease.
Users can download certificates via the eGovernment Portal. When they receive the certificates by email, they need to activate the My EU CBS application and click on the Add Certificate option. When the camera is activated on the phone or tablet, it is necessary to read the QR code that is on the certificate (point the camera at the part of the certificate that contains the QR code). After the certificate is read, they need to press the Accept key to save it on their device.
How is the data stored?
No user registration is required to use this application.
All data scanned by the user is stored exclusively on the user's device in the locale.
The data contained in the QR code is the minimum set of data defined by the European Union.
After scanning the QR code only the status of the certificate, name and date of birth are displayed.
The QR code is protected by an electronic signature and cannot be forged.
The Office for IT and eGovernment has published an application for and on behalf of the Institute of Public Health of Serbia "Dr Milan Jovanović Batut".
